Surah Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) - Aya count 11

وَالضُّحَىٰ ( 1 )

Při denním jasu

وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ( 2 )

a při noci, když je tichá,

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ( 3 )

Pán tvůj tě neopustil ani tebou nepohrdá!

وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ ( 4 )

A bude pro tebe poslední věru lepší než první

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ ( 5 )

a Pán tvůj tě zajisté obdaří k tvému uspokojení.

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ ( 6 )

Což nenašel tě jako sirotka - a v útulek tě nepřijal?

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ ( 7 )

Bloudícím tě nalezl - a správnou cestu ti ukázal,

وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ ( 8 )

nuzákem tě nalezl - a bohatství ti věru dal!

فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ( 9 )

Co sirotka se týče, toho neutiskuj,

وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ( 10 )

co žebráka se týče, toho neodstrkuj,

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ( 11 )

však o dobrodiní Pána svého jiným vypravuj!
